The Makeup Show DC – August 4!

Hi friends!

Hope you all are having a great week! Sunday, August 4 I will be at The Makeup Show in DC. This event is taking place August 3 and 4 and you guys will be able to shop big discounts from skincare and cosmetic brands and hear tips from top makeup artists!

Some top brands include Stila, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and Mario Badescu! This event is normally held in NYC, and this is the first time they are bringing their beauty pop-up to the DC area.

I’m most excited for the complimentary lip bar, where you can get a one on one lesson to create the perfect, bold, long lasting summer lip!

If you’re interested in makeup and trying to get into the industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you! The event allows you to experience eductional opportunities with amazing makeup artists and hands-on workshops. Consumers can get a sneak peek at new trends in the makeup world!

One top trend that I’m most interested in learning about is naturally derived skincare products. As much as I love makeup, I’ve been getting more into skincare to protect my skin and eventually go as makeup free as possible. James Vincent, makeup artist and director of Education & Artistry for The Makeup Show, calls out Mario Badescu and Twin Medix for really bringing gentle but effective products to the table. He also suggests using a lip scrub daily to help with dry lips, which I love using! A ton of other top trends that he’s called out will be at the show this weekend with big discounts!

If you want to go to The Makeup Show for one day, tickets are $25. If you want to go for both days, it’s $40!

All information and ticket purchases can be found here: https://www.themakeupshow.com/dc-pop-up/

I love makeup and skincare and love learning more about different techniques and testing out different products, so I’m really excited to get some insight at this event!

Hope to see you all there!
