On my days off, I always try to get as much done as I can, but also enjoy myself and have some fun days planned. It’s important to take advantage of your days off so that your life doesn’t become 100% work all of the time.
This week, I decided to visit one of my friends and go explore Old Ellicott City. We got lunch at La Palapas, which had amazing fajitas and mojitos! Then, we walked around and peaked in all of the adorable shops. I found a super cute turquoise and silver ring that I had to buy. I love buying jewelry from little, family owned shops like that because they always have the best stuff!
As some of you may know, some of the town was ruined by a hurricane a few years ago. A lot of the shops were destroyed, and they’ve finally been reopened again. It was good to see the businesses back in action! It’s a great place to spend the day, plus there’s amazing scenery for pictures!
I haven’t worn this skirt yet, so I decided to dress it down and pair it with this graphic from Grey Bandit (they have really cute clothes and just launched so be sure to check them out!)! I love the whole gingham with a graphic look and I’m glad gingham is transitioning it’s way into fall. Its such an easy and fun pattern that can add so much detail to just a plain white tee. I wore my adidas to stick with the comfy look and did a burnt orange lip to add some color. I think the burnt orange lip looks really cool paired with the black and white outfit. I also like when a little bit of color is added to a gingham outfit, whether that be on a shirt, your shoes, or your makeup!
