The Jumpsuit

 

One of my favorite clothing items is a comfortable jumpsuit. I finally found the perfect one! I purchased this Silence and Noise oversized jumpsuit from Urban Outfitters. I had my eye on it for so long and when we finally got it in stock at the store I purchased the olive color right away (and I plan on purchasing the maroon and black as well).

My biggest problem with purchasing jumpsuits is that they’re either way too long and I have to wear them with heels, or they’re too fancy for class and daily activities. This jumpsuit is perfect because it has a high cut at the ankle and is plain, but baggy, which makes it stylish and comfortable at the same time. My favorite thing about jumpsuits though is that they’re so easy to just throw on and you have an outfit ready with just one article of clothing, so I was so excited when I found one that could go from a day to night look by just changing a few things.

Jumpsuits can be worn so many different ways, especially this one. In the picture they’re modeling the jumpsuit with a leather jacket and Adidas sneakers, which I think is great for the fall. I’ve already worn this jumpsuit to work with nude flip flops and no accessories. I have to say, I got so many compliments. My friend purchased the same one the next day and my mom is even ordering one! I also got another mom to try it on in the store and buy the black one, so it’s perfect for women of all ages.

Dress it down:

I personally find jean shorts to be extremely uncomfortable and I like being comfortable during class because I’m sitting down listening to a lecture for an hour. This jumpsuit is perfect because it’s baggy and cozy. To dress it down I suggest pairing it with flip flops, sneakers, or Birkenstocks and skipping out on accessories. It’s not too long so flats look perfect with it! This look is great for class, running errands, or for work.

Dress it up:

When I’m going out I also like to be comfortable. This jumpsuit works with heels, so I suggest your favorite pair with a cool necklace and your Rebecca Minkoff bag. It’s perfect for any night time activities and you look trendy without having to spend hours pairing an outfit together.
